This PRP procedure is a very specific method using blood-derived growth factors from the client to rejuvenate the female private genitals and help women improve urinary incontinence and intimacy issues.
Biopsy studies suggest that when PRP is injected, the stem cells multiply and grow younger tissue. In the same way PRP regenerates the skin of the face, it appears PRP regenerates healthy female vaginal tissue. So, using this same technology, the Oh LaLa! Shot procedure works by using PRP to stimulate stem cells to grow healthier vaginal tissue.
First, a numbing cream is applied to the area. Then a small amount of blood is drawn from the arm just like a blood draw for a routine test. Using a very fine, tiny needle, the growth factors are injected into the clitoris and the upper vaginal opening.
Because these areas have been numbed with the anesthetic cream, the patient feels little to no pain.

It’s nice to layer PRP with traditional fillers. If a patient has volume loss with a lot of fine lines and textural changes, Dr. Burkenstock will use PRP to create a new foundation of collagen and use dermal fillers for the fine lines.
